New VW upholstery

This is part of the old bench seat seat cover. It's why there was a fuzzy blanket over the backseat when I bought my VW.
And this is what it looks like now... I made the pillow, too. Next - Curtains! Why stop now? I'm on a roll.
Today an adorable 5 year old told me she really liked my pink car. Kids seems to get a kick out of it. Whenever a car with a kid goes by me on the roads, they usually have their noses pressed to the glass and gawk at my car as they go by.

Hi Heather,
I think that because your van is so obvious that maybe you might consider pasting bumper stickers on it to really make a statement about some of the current events and issues. I know that there's a womens organization that uses the color pink. It's just a thought. I hope you are doing well

There is only one name for your pink van........Mary Kay. LOL

Good luck with it and have lots of fun.

Hi Heather,
I'm not crazy about the color pink, however, it looks kind of flat.
I mean, if you could take it a step further and maybe paint some flowers or something like that, it would give it some depth and perspective. Then you wouldn't necessarilly have to give it a name. At any rate, I think you'd look good in your van no matter what. Later

Be careful, working on your VW is addictive. For instance, take a look at my friends at our car show we had in Seattle last weekend.
Seattle Art Car Blowout. Maybe we'll see you up here for next years show.
